So let’s find a bar
So dark we forget who we are
Mark Cohen, aspiring film maker, was deeply engrossed with editing his latest film when someone grabbed his shoulders and spun him around, causing him to yelp in surprise.
“Dammit Roger,” he bitched, recognizing the person who had interrupted him.
Roger Davis chuckled as he held up a wad of money, “Let’s go get drunk.”
“Where did you get this?” Mark asked, taking the money from Roger, afraid that he had done something stupid.
“A-N-G-E-L,” he replied softly, taking the money back and slipping it into his pocket.
“You and Mimi fighting again?” Mark asked as he put his film away.
“Why do you think I want to get buzzed?” Roger said as they walked out of the building towards a local bar.
“Women suck,” Mark announced after finishing his third shot of tequila.
“Amen to that. You lost your girl to another chick and I’m losing mine to darling Benny. Why is the world against us?” Roger asked after another shot.
“Hello, Mother Earth. The world is female and is determined to drive all men crazy.”
“At least we have Father Christmas and we can enjoy one day of the year,” Roger adding causing the two boys to burst into uncontrollable laughter.
After the laughter died down, Roger lit a cigarette and sighed as he looked around the darkened bar. He smiled slightly when he felt Mark’s hand on his thigh; he had almost forgotten that Mark got horny when he was drunk.
Mark leaned over and brushed Roger’s jaw with a kiss. “Let’s go home,” he whispered loudly, jumping off the bar stool and nearly falling as the room began to spin.
“Come on ya lightweight,” Roger said, rolling his eyes and putting a steadying arm around Mark’s shoulders as they walked home.
“I love you,” Mark declared as they walked into the loft, throwing his harms around Roger’s neck.
Oh god, Mark was getting sappy. “I know Mark. I love you too,” Roger said, leading Mark over to his bed. Roger pouted slightly as he got Mark settled into bed. It was supposed to be him getting drunk, not Mark, but seeing Mark like this had him in a better mood than alcohol ever would.
